PRESIDENT: Michael Manley
SPECIALTY: Running and Leading a Great Pool Company

Michael is a second-generation pool builder who learned at the footsteps of his father Peter Manley. Not exactly "born with a silver spoon in his mouth," Michael was given the opportunity to "learn the pool business from the ground up" (literally) by starting with a shovel in his hands. Over the years, Michael worked all different positions within the company, eventually taking over as president of the company in 1983.

Since then, Michael has grown Champagne Pools to be the premier pool builder for central Florida, repeatedly recognized as one of the Top 50 Builders in the country. It was under Michael's leadership that Champagne Pools qualified to become a member of Aquatech, the Society of Pool Professionals.

Michael's been an active member of the pool industry, serving on the boards of the National Swimming Pool Association (NSPI), the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP), and the Florida Swimming Pool Association (FSPA). Michael also spent three years as the National Vice President of NSPI.

SPECIAL CLAIMS TO FAME:
1994 - Person of the Year for the pool industry in the state of Florida
1997-1999 Youngest person ever to serve as National Vice President, NSPI
1998 - Rising Star National Award by Pool & Spa Age Magazine. Also the top poolbuilder under the age of 40
1999 - Inducted into the International Swimming Pool Hall of Fame
2000 - NSPI Hall of Fame - Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient from the National Spa & Pool Institute.
Michael will tell you that his "claims to fame" also include his 23-year long marriage to his lovely wife Janice Manley, and their "soon-to-be third generation pool builder" son Erick.
